Short Hiatus and Update

Hello listeners,

Hope you all are having a great summer so far!

The Blood-Jet will be on short hiatus until Friday, August 20th when poet Kwame Dawes will be on the show to talk about his poetry and an anthology he edited, SO MUCH THINGS TO SAY, about the Calabash Retreat in Jamaica.  Tune in live then at 10 am PST/ 1 pm EST at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/onword.

As some of you may know, I’ll be attending graduate school in the fall and will be changing the regular time slot for the show.  But do not fear!  There will still be new shows to listen to!  I plan to restructure the show to fit my new schedule so that you listeners out there can tune into archived shows (as opposed to listening to them live.)  I’ll post information about the writer and listening links on this blog as usual.

Again, thanks for listening!  As always, feel free to email me or comment on this blog for suggestions about future guests.

Best,

Rachelle
